Fiscal Year: 2011 Agency: USAID Audit Report Available: Yes Description: In July 2003, USAID/Egypt awarded a 5-year, $8.4 million agreement to Center for Communication Programs, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, to provide support for the implementation of USAID/Egypt’s Communication for Healthy Living Program. Because of activities added after the initial agreement, USAID/Egypt increased the total estimated cost to $25 million and extended the completion date to February 2011. The goal of the program is to provide cross-cutting communications support for health services and to develop institutional, technical, and financial leadership and systems to implement health communications programs. This review will determine whether USAID/Egypt’s Communication for Healthy Living Program is providing cross-cutting communication support for health services and developing institutional, technical, and financial leadership and systems to implement health communications programs.
